About Small and Beautiful Beads

For the past 18 years, we have been participating in art shows throughout Michigan and for the last 8 years we have focused on Artisan Jewelry. We have chosen interesting, unusual and high quality materials in an effort to set ourselves apart.

Our first introduction to Kazuri beads was in a small bead shop in Florida while vacationing three years ago. At the time, we were unfamiliar with the history of the beads, we only knew that they were beautiful and something we wanted to continue to use in our jewelry. After returning home to Michigan, we searched local bead shops and the major bead shows throughout the state, but had no luck finding them. In an effort to purchase the best selection of Kazuri beads, I became an Authorized Kazuri dealer for the state of Michigan.

I am able to sell individual Kazuri beads at the best bead shows throughout the state in addition to providing them through this website. Small and Beautiful Beads was developed out of a desire to carry a large selection of these richly colored beads for beginning jewelry makers, jewelry artists and bead stores alike. I hope you will appreciate the opportunity Kazuri beads offers to the Kenyan women who handcraft them. I know that I am proud to be apart of such a special group.

Thank you and Happy Shopping!
